Disability Rights Advocates has designed this website to be easy to use and simple to navigate. Below are answers to common questions you may have about using the website. If your issue is not found here, please email the webmaster for assistance.

How do I find what I am looking for?

You can find information on this site in different ways.

  1. Use the navigation bar along the left side of each page.
  2. Use the search engine, located under the logo at the top, left of each page.
  3. Use the site map.

If you ever get stuck while navigating this site, you may always return to the home page by selecting the "Home" link under "You are here:" at the top of each page's content section. This a "breadcumb" style navigation: it provides links to the pages that separate your current location from the home page.

What browser is this site best viewed in?

This website has been designed and tested to be compatible with the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, and Opera.

How can I use some of the accessibility features?

Resize Text

  • IE users: select View > Text Size
  • Netscape users: select View > Text Zoom
  • Firefox users: select View > Text Size
  • Opera users: select View > Zoom

Increase Text Contrast

  • IE users: select Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility
  • Netscape users: select Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Colors
  • Firefox users: select Tools > Options > General > Fonts & Colors

Skip Navigation

A Skip Navigation link is located at the beginning of each page to enable those using screen readers or text browsers to skip the navigation features and jump directly to the main content.

I am having trouble downloading a PDF document. What should I do?

  • Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Save the file to your computer before viewing. For Internet Explorer users, right-click on the link and select "Save Target As...". For Netscape users, right-click on the link and select "Save As...". For Firefox users, right-click on the link and select "Save Link As..."
  • Be patient — occasionally PDF documents have large file sizes and may take longer to download/view than other pages online. Depending on your Internet connection, download times will vary.
  • If you are still having problems viewing the file, please email the webmaster for assistance.

Something on this site doesn't work. What should I do?
