A Call to Action: A Guide for Managed Care Plans Serving Californians with Disabilities describes results from a survey of approximately 400 Californians with disabilities. The survey aims to provide a snapshot of Californians' experiences regarding a wide range of disability access needs in health care. This Report also describes promising health care practices and makes recommendations for managed care plans to improve the care provided to people with disabilities. The publication of the book was made possible by a generous grant from The California Endowment.
