NIAD provides an art program that promotes creativity, independence, dignity, and community integration for people with developmental and other disabilities.
Disability Rights Advocates (DRA), a national nonprofit disability rights firm specializing in precedent-setting and socially significant civil litigation, has a staff position available for a motivated attorney with at least 4-5 years of litigation experience (graduated 2003 or earlier), to work on a variety of high impact cases.

In the past 14 years, this ten-lawyer office has successfully litigated more class-action disability cases resulting in systemic change than any other law firm in America. DRA handles a wide range of issues such as access to transportation, education, employment, recreation, insurance and health care. We take on the giants and litigate against such entities as Kaiser Permanente, United Parcel Service, Macy's, Caltrans, the California Board of Bar Examiners and Target.com.
