Thanks to the generous support of our donors, Disability Rights Advocates is pleased to make available on our website and in our offices the work of artists from the National Institute of Art & Disabilities (NIAD). NIAD provides an art program that promotes creativity, independence, dignity, and community integration for people with developmental and other disabilities.
Disability Rights Advocates is widely recognized as the national leader in class action litigation on behalf of students with disabilities concerning high stakes testing. We have brought some of the leading cases for the removal of physical barriers in public school districts, as well as colleges, universities, and trade schools. DRA is dedicated to ensuring that high stakes state examinations (like high school "exit exams"), college or post-graduate admissions tests, as well as other standardized assessments provide full and fair opportunities for people with disabilities to demonstrate their actual abilities and achievements.
