Kasey Corbit joined Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) as a DRA Fellow in 2006. Prior to joining DRA, Ms. Corbit worked for the Mental Health Advocacy Project providing direct representation to individuals with mental illness and cognitive impairments. Ms. Corbit graduated with honors from George Mason University in 1998 and earned her law degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 2004. Additionally, Ms. Corbit has worked to document human rights abuses in Haiti, and to seek legal redress for these violations. Ms. Corbit is admitted to practice in all California Courts, the U.S. District Court of California (Northern District) and the U.S. Court of Appeals (Ninth Circuit).
