Christine Chuang joined Disability Rights Advocates as a staff attorney in 2011. Previously, Ms. Chuang practiced civil litigation as an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in Los Angeles, where she represented, on a pro bono basis, asylum-seekers, Special Immigrant Juveniles, homeless clients and children in foster care requiring special education services. Ms. Chuang received her J.D. from University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from University of Michigan in 2003. During law school, Ms. Chuang represented children in foster care as part of the Child Advocacy Clinic, homeless clients through Penn Law Advocates for the Homeless and migrant workers through the Transnational Legal Clinic. Ms. Chuang is admitted to the U.S. District Court of California (Northern District), State Bar of California and the State Bar of New York.
